We’re proud to share that our founder, Lucy Noonan, has been shortlisted for the Outstanding Woman in Professional Services (East Midlands) category at The Women’s Awards 2025.
The Women’s Awards celebrate inspirational women from across the UK, recognising those who have made outstanding contributions to their industries and communities. The awards honour success, resilience, and leadership — values that sit right at the heart of Atomic Consultancy.
“Just being nominated means the world,” says Lucy.
“The calibre of women involved — past and present — is phenomenal. I don’t take a single bit of it for granted.”
A Nomination Among Trailblazers
Lucy’s nomination places her alongside some of the region’s most respected professionals. Last year’s East Midlands winner, Bhumika Parmar, is a powerhouse in the legal sector and the founder of BP Legal. In the West Midlands, Sana Saddique, a qualified family law solicitor, was recognised for her commitment to advocacy and client care.
“Women like Bhumika and Sana are setting the bar incredibly high — and rightly so,” Lucy adds. “To be even in the same conversation as them is surreal and a huge honour.”
From Redundancy to £260 Million in Deals
Lucy’s journey hasn’t been straightforward. In 2020, she was made redundant. But what started as a difficult chapter soon became the catalyst for something extraordinary.
Since launching Atomic Consultancy, Lucy has:
- Brokered over £260 million in agency acquisitions
- Built an all-female team
- Grown a network of 11,000+ active buyers
- Won back-to-back ESTAS Supplier of the Year awards in 2023 and 2024
- Championed mentoring, inclusion, and female leadership in the property sector

Atomic was created to do things differently: faster, fairer, and more human. That same energy runs through everything Lucy does — from mentoring women in the industry to raising over £72,000 for Breast Cancer Now in memory of her friend, Sarah Edmondson.
“When I started Atomic, I just wanted to build something honest and useful,” says Lucy.
“Now, seeing the ripple effect it’s had — that’s the real success.”
What’s Next?
The Women’s Awards 2025 gala takes place in October at the IXL Events Centre in Warwickshire. While the winners are still to be announced, we’re already celebrating this incredible milestone.
Whatever happens on the night, Lucy’s impact speaks for itself — and at Atomic, we couldn’t be prouder.
