Challenges & Goals of Selling the Estate Agency
Panorama Lettings was founded in 2005 by Simon and Tiffany Goulden and built up over 17 years into a respected, well-run lettings agency in Bournemouth. With a strong portfolio of fully managed properties and a long-standing local reputation, the business was known within the area and across the industry.
Simon decided to sell as part of his retirement plans. While the business was performing well, the priority was to achieve a clean and well-managed exit, supported by someone with a deep understanding of the lettings sector and the complexities involved in selling a regulated portfolio business.
Given Simon’s profile and reputation in the market, it was important that the process was handled professionally, with clear communication and expert guidance throughout.
Atomic Consultancy’s Approach
Atomic Consultancy worked closely with Simon from the outset, carrying out a detailed valuation and advising on how best to position the business in the market.
With approximately 325 managed properties and strong recurring income, Panorama was an attractive opportunity. Atomic introduced the business to a targeted pool of qualified buyers and managed the process end-to-end, from initial discussions through to negotiation and completion.
The Property Franchise Group (TPFG) emerged as the right buyer, offering both the scale and structure required to acquire and integrate the business successfully. Atomic supported Simon throughout the process, ensuring he was kept fully informed and confident at every stage.
